Mi Victoria LP5 Malbec – Leandro Paredes’ Tribute to Passion, Family & Argentine Greatness
Mi Victoria LP5 Malbec is far more than a wine—it is a personal statement by Leandro Paredes, champion of the Argentina National Football Team, created in collaboration with Bodega Barberis and inspired by love, legacy, and victory. Behind the label lies a powerful story that connects football, family, and Argentine winemaking excellence.
The name Mi Victoria honors Leandro’s mother, symbolizing gratitude, strength, and personal triumph, while LP5 references the iconic jersey number worn throughout his career. Crafted with guidance from the team behind Alejandro Vigil’s winemaking philosophy, this Malbec reflects authenticity, emotion, and precision.
Sourced from three prestigious regions—Luján de Cuyo, Gualtallary, and Vista Flores—this 100% Malbec captures the diversity and elegance of Mendoza’s finest terroirs. After a cold maceration, controlled fermentation, and extended skin contact, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak, achieving depth and refinement.
In the glass, it displays a deep violet-red color. The nose is expressive and seductive, offering ripe black fruits, blackberry, plum, and blueberry, complemented by violet florals, cocoa, subtle spice, and elegant oak. On the palate, it is round, balanced, and polished, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a persistent, harmonious finish.
Ideal for fine dining and special occasions, pair it with grilled ribeye, braised beef cheeks, mushroom risotto, truffle pasta, or aged semi-hard cheeses.
Mi Victoria LP5 Malbec is a wine for collectors, football fans, and lovers of premium Argentine Malbec—a celebration of passion, identity, and unforgettable victories.
