Yerba Mate comes from a native plant with a distinctive taste and outstanding qualities, known as Ilex paraguariensis.

Its carefully dried, gently toasted, and milled leaves—combined (or not) with small pieces of dried stems—create our Yerba Mate ROSAMONTE, following a refined process of selection, milling, and aging, resulting in the well-balanced profile that defines our brand.

Back in 1936, Don Demetrio Hreñuk, son of Ukrainian immigrants, together with his wife Catalina, founded a family business focused on planting, harvesting, and drying yerba mate. By 1966, he acquired his first mill and began producing and distributing finished yerba mate, giving birth to Yerba Mate ROSAMONTE.
