This 100% Bonarda comes from a single vineyard in Junín, Mendoza, located at an altitude of 2,132 ft (650 meters) above sea level. The sandy soils and warm days combined with cool nights contribute to a wine of depth, finesse, and remarkable balance.
Fermented with wild yeasts at a maximum temperature of 84°F (28°C) over 15 days and followed by a 25-day maceration, the wine undergoes aging for 12 months in 100-year-old foudres, allowing it to gain complexity while retaining varietal purity and freshness.
In the glass, it reveals a deep purple hue and expressive aromas of blackberries, plums, and floral notes, layered with subtle hints of earth, spice, and dried herbs. On the palate, it is silky yet structured, with vibrant acidity and refined tannins that lead to a long, elegant finish marked by notes of dark fruit and minerality.
