On the nose, an explosion of ripe black cherries, wild blackberries, and cassis, wrapped in notes of violets, graphite, and dark chocolate. Its 18-month aging in French oak barrels adds extraordinary complexity, with hints of sweet spices, espresso, tobacco, and fine leather.
