Gran Enemigo Gualtallary Cabernet Franc
This wine presents itself as intense and complex. It showcases spices, accompanied by notes of ripe black fruit and fresh vegetables. On the palate, it is elegant and subtle, surprising with its excellent acidity, polished tannins, a long finish, and pleasant mineral notes, making it complex.
It's a wine that, during a dinner, allows its story to be told and serves as a trigger for great anecdotes because an oenologist (Alejandro Vigil) and a historian (Adrianna Catena) delved into the past to evoke a time when European immigrants, newly arrived in Argentina, worked hard to produce wines like those from their homelands.
According to its creators, the El Enemigo line symbolizes the battle of man against himself, the original enemy, the battle that defined each of the owners of this winery. It is a wine of great structure and concentration, a blend that inspires and recalls the good moments of the past while bringing to life the historical and artisanal aspects of grape cultivation and vinification.
It was the first South American Cabernet Franc to achieve 100 points from Parker and Suckling.
