About Hesperidin
Is an Argentine drink based on bitter or sour orange peel and sweet immature fruits which have a high content of flavonoids (hesperidin, neohesperidin and narangin) .1 Its creator was the American Melville Sewell Bagley, founder of the company Argentina Bagley, in 1864. Today it continues to be produced and consumed in Argentina. Its flavor is mild, sweet, and it is usually mixed with tonic water, soda water, lime and lemon soda, or as a mixture in different drinks or cocktails. Antioxidant and other effects of the flavonoids it contains are recognized.
